Candice Ives, CPA (CA)
Candice is the founder of Aurum-accounting. Candice started her career in external auditing at KPMG and PwC and since moving into industry in 2011, she has held senior finance roles with exposure to various industries including Retail, Technology, Manufacturing, Distribution, Hospitality, Consulting and Financial Services. She has spent most of her career working for publicly traded companies as head of finance or financial reporting.
“I started Aurum-Accounting because I saw a definite need in the market. Small to mid-size businesses can’t always justify a large payroll expense for a senior, experienced controller/CFO. The only options for a part time solution would be a larger accounting firm with a high price tag for their name or relying on bookkeepers who perhaps do not always have the necessary skills or experience to do the job accurately. Aurum-Accounting makes top tier skillsets available to small and medium size businesses at a reasonable cost.”
Jessica Murphy, CA (SA)
Jessica joined Aurum-Accounting in 2024. She started her career as an external auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 6 years before moving into industry as a Financial Accountant and Finance Manager for privately traded companies.
Jessica specializes in financial statement preparation and controllership.
